Traditionally, the very worst coffees have been reserved for decaf. But this high quality coffee shows just how good a decaf can be. It is decaffeinated using the Mountain Water Process. This chemical-free process simply uses water and a filtering system to extract the caffeine from the coffee while maintaining outstanding flavor.
Mountain Water Process is a method of indirect decaffeination. The decaffeination process for this coffee uses pure water from Pico de Orizaba—the highest mountain in Mexico.

We roast about 11 pounds at a time. Each coffee has a “sweet spot” and needs to be roasted to just that level. Some beans need to be roasted lightly to keep their sweet, delicate flavor. Other beans are better suited for a medium or dark roast. And finally, the fresh, premium-quality coffee arrives in your home, is brewed to perfection, and is savored by you, your family, and friends.
