This cut of steak comes from the large shoulder primal known for their rich, beefy flavor. The Flat Iron Steak comes grill ready and is great for thin slicing in a number of creative dishes. The flat iron steak is a wonderfully tender and affordable cut of our 100% grassfed beef. It is an excellent stand alone steak as well as a great stir fry or fajita companion. Our US raised Flat Iron Steak brings a bold flavor to the table with extra marble and tenderness. These juicy cuts are great for grilling on the barbecue, broiling in the oven, or pan-searing on a skillet to take dinner time to the next level.
For rare, remove the steak(s) at 120 F to 125 F; medium-rare 125 F to 130 F; and medium 130 F to 135 F.
